This page is designed to explain our Supply / Consolidation process to Toys for Tots peers
This is Chester County, PA. 549,000 people, 760 square miles, and a poverty rate of 6.2%
And over 300 Toy Drop sites.
I don't have enough volunteers to drop boxes at a fraction of those drop sites.
So, I don't.
I have requested the assistance of some locations to act as Supply Sites - places where I can put 30-50 boxes for people to pick up as needed
These were my supply sites in 2024. I would have preferred another in the large blank area in the southeast, but that area has relatively low population in general as well as in drop sites
Each Drop Site that registers is given a list of the supply sites, and asked to go pick up their boxes. Most are happy to do so. Those that don't... well, I have enough drop sites, and I don't have enough volunteers. They can contribute in other ways
So, that's getting my boxes out there. How do I get them back?
For the same reason I can't drop off boxes, I can't easily pick them up. I have a *different* set of locations that help with that during the Consolidation Period - two days in early December where everyone is asked to bring their gifts to a handful of sites. I can then roll a truck to those sites on a weekend (when volunteers are available).
These are my 2024 Consolidation Locations
The red circles were my Consolidation locations. The blue circle was my warehouse. Drop Sites could drop at either location during the Consolidation period, but only at the warehouse if they were late.
